The four-hour unrated film Menus Plaisirs - Les Troisgros (2023) explores the illustrious past and gastronomic heritage of the Troisgros family restaurant in central France. This prestigious business, which opened its doors in 1930, has been recognized for its brilliance throughout four generations by being awarded a remarkable three Michelin stars for 55 years. The fourth generation of Troisgros cooks is represented in the documentary by Michel Troisgros, the third generation head chef, and his son César, who took over the culinary duties after him. The movie takes audiences on a culinary tour that starts with fresh vegetable markets and ends with the restaurant's own garden, a cheese factory, a winery, and an organic cattle ranch. Under Wiseman's direction, it provides an intimate look inside the three restaurant kitchens owned by the family and highlights the skill, imagination, and hard work of the employees in producing and serving the best possible food.
