Takumi and his daughter Hana reside in Mizubiki Village, a stone's throw from Tokyo. Embracing the traditions of their forebears, they lead a simple existence attuned to the rhythms and harmony of the natural world. However, their tranquil existence is disrupted when news spreads of plans to construct a glamping site near Takumi's home, promising urbanites a luxurious retreat into the wilderness. As tensions mount, two representatives from the city journey to the village for discussions, revealing the detrimental impact the project will have on the local water supply, sparking unrest among the villagers. With conflicting interests at play, the precarious balance of the plateau's ecosystem and their way of life hang in the balance, leaving a lasting impact on Takumi's life.
